// Your data
Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your RaceLog+ account and exactly what happens to your data. It covers the website at racelogplus.com and the RaceLog+ mobile app (com.racelogplus.app).
Deleting is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery window and no way for us to bring a deleted race log back. Take a copy first: Settings, then Your data, then Download my data. You get a single file with your whole history.
Delete it yourself
The fastest way, and it works the same in the app and in a browser:
01Log inSign in to the account you want to remove.
02Open SettingsFrom the menu, go to your profile settings.
03Find "Your data"Scroll to the section at the bottom of the page.
04Delete accountConfirm when asked. The account and everything in it goes at once, and you are signed out.
If you cannot log in
Lost the password, lost access to the mailbox, or the account is suspended? Write to privacy@racelogplus.com from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We confirm the request is genuine and then delete it. It usually takes a day or two, and never more than 30.
What is deleted
All of it, immediately and permanently:
- Your profile: name, email address, country, bio, avatar, member details.
- Every race you logged: dates, distances, times, positions, locations and notes.
- Every photo: avatar, medals, bibs, trophies and race photos are removed from storage, not just unlinked.
- Your social activity: comments, replies, reactions, mentions, notifications and your activity feed.
- Your network: connections, pending requests in both directions, and anyone you blocked.
- Club memberships and any club events you added.
- Your Strava connection and the access tokens behind it.
- Feedback you sent us and the log of emails we sent you.
- Your login credentials, so the account can no longer be used to sign in.
What is kept, and why
Three things survive, none of which identify you:
- Your member number goes on a list of retired numbers so it is never handed to someone else. The list holds a number, with no name or email beside it.
- Clubs you created stay, without an owner, so their members do not lose the club when you go.
- Anonymous page counts. Our analytics never stored your account, so there is nothing there to tie back to you.
